Richard R. Baldwin, 89, of Smithfield, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022. He was born on August 21, 1933 in Windsor, Illinois, a son of Corbin and Evelyn (Bowden) Baldwin. He married Harriet Jane Meyer on September 25, 1954 in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Kevin (Karen) Baldwin of Tennessee; Geneda Bauman of St. David, Illinois; and Carol (John) Kurtenbach of Roberts, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Raymond Baldwin, five brothers, and four sisters.
Richard worked and retired from International Harvester after many years of service, he attended Smithfield Nazarene Church with his wife, Harriet, enjoyed welding art, and painting.
Per Richard's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside service and burial will take place at Baughman Cemetery in Smithfield.
