ROSE SPRANG OBITUARY

Rose Marie "Rosebud" Sprang

Manitowoc - Rose Marie "Rosebud" Sprang, age 64, of Hannah Home, Manitowoc, passed away Friday afternoon, February 2, 2018 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Rosebud was born September 3, 1953 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Anton and Ruth (O'Neil) Sprang. She completed eight years of special education schooling. Rosebud began her career at Holiday House of Manitowoc in 1972 where she worked for 45 years. Rosebud loved her Green Bay Packers, NASCAR racing, making crafts, doing puzzle books, bowling, dancing, music, summer camp and spending time with her Holiday House family.

Survivors include one brother: Walter "Wally" (Karen) Sprang, Jupiter, FL; two sisters: Marilyn (Paul) Streubel, Two Rivers; Karen Braun, Manitowoc; and a brother-law, Joseph Pohl, Manitowoc; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rosebud was preceded in death by her parents Anton and Ruth Sprang, one brother Allen Sprang and one sister Dolores Pohl.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, 1121 N., 14th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Mark Mleziva. A private entombment ceremony will take place at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum in the Town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Memorials in the name of Rose Marie Sprang can be made to Holiday House of Manitowoc County.
