Services for Mrs. Willie Mae Walker Perkins Bryant will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Colfax United Pentecostal Church with Reverends Wayne Setliff, Samuel Russell and Kevin Bynog officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery, Montgomery, Louisiana.
Mrs. Bryant, 75, of Montgomery, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at her residence.
She was a member of Colfax United Pentecostal Church and a hard working, dedicated, loyal Christian woman. She was loved by everyone. Mrs. Bryant was a retired Pinecrest aide.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Murrell T. Perkins and Roy L. Bryant; father, Phillip Newton Walker; mother, Mattie Lee Brian; brother, Raymond Ray Walker; great grandson, Dallas W. Grindstaff and great granddaughter, Haylea Peavy.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Nancy D. Perkins and Debbie L. Perkins; brother, Phillip Lee Walker; grandsons, David Peavy & wife Renee', Phillip W. Grindstaff & wife Michelle, Robert M. Peavy & wife Janis, Larry M. Grindstaff & wife Amanda; great grandchildren, Anthony Peavy, Hunter Peavy, Michael D. Grindstaff, Hona S. Grindstaff, Montana L. Grindstaff, Makenzy L. Grindstaff, Zachary Brister, Luke McNeal and Justin McNeal; sister-in-law and best friend, Diecy L. Perkins Jowers.
