Mrs. Hattie Hancock
Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Hancock,76, will be conducted today at 4 p.m. at Green Street Baptist Church by the Rev. J.S. Cobb. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Albert Bullington, Joseph A. Wilkosz, Virgil Turner, and Furmas, John and Huston Davis.
She died Tuesday about 9:45 p.m. at a local hospital after serious illness of 2 days and several months of failing health. She lived at 492 Magnolia Street.
A native of Reidville, she was a daughter of the late M.T. and Nancy McElrath Davis and was an active member of Green Street Baptist Church.
The body will be taken from J.F. Floyd Mortuary to the church at 2 p.m.
