Services will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home in Harrisburg with Dr. Roger Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation is 3 p.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born June 21, 1931, in Stonefort to Ownly Truman "O.T." and Mildred (Allbaugh) Mann. On June 19, 1950, she married Ellis Eugene "Gene" Winters, who survives in Harrisburg.
Louise worked as a factory worker, retail clerk and business partner for many years. She was an avid pool player, winning many trophies. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Brownsville School, where her grandson Craig attends school. Envelopes will be available at Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home. Louise will be cremated as to her wishes and burial of her cremated remains will be held at a later date.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Dan (Kim) Winters of Harrisburg; a sister, Virginia (George) Harness of Hebron, Ind.; a brother, Doyle (Alice) Mann of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; two grandchildren, Kassie Dawn Winters and Craig Eugene Winters, both of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews survive.
