Karl Bubolz, age 89, of Brillion, formerly of Reedsville, passed away early Friday morning, October 7, 2022 at Brillion West Haven.

Karl was born on January 12, 1933 in Reedsville, WI, son of the late Fred and Amanda (Habeck) Bubolz. He was a graduate of Reedsville High School with the class of 1952. Karl served in the United States Army. On May 12, 1956 he married the former Ruth Zorn in Chilton, WI. She preceded him in death on March 18, 1991. On July 30, 1994 he married Carol (Chada) Behnke at St. John – St. James, Lutheran Church in Reedsville. She preceded him in death on January 3, 2019. After high school Karl worked on and eventually took over the family dairy farm. He also was a salesman for DeKalb Seed for 40 years and owned and operated Bubolz Sales and Service. Karl was a member of the AMVETS Post 1032 of Reedsville, the Reedsville Sportsman Club, the Reedsville High School Board and was a life-long member of St. John – St. James Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, boating, snowmobiling, and traveling across the U.S. in his mobile home.

Survivors include his children: Brian (Sue) Bubolz, Cindy (Dave) Isajiw, Scott (Cindy) Bubolz, all of Reedsville; one step-son: Aaron (Karen) Behnke, Menominee Falls; six grandchildren: Eric Jackson (Erin) Bubolz, Brett Bubolz, Challise (Caleb) Staudinger, Colton Isajiw (Lydia), Jessup Bubolz (Susan) and Casey Bubolz; two step-grandchildren: Ashley (Wesley) and Mitchell Behnke; 12 great grandchildren: Riley, Addison, Xavier and Evelyn Bubolz, Aiden, Alaina and Axel Bubolz, Cade, Carson, Crue and Clara Staudinger, Ryker Wilhelm; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Sharon Zorn, Patti Geiser, Debbie Dotson, all of Chilton, Bergetta Bubolz, Brillion, Mary Jo (James) Bielinski, Lisa (Paul) Schaetz, Charles (Judy) Chada, all of Denmark, Glenn Kornely, Milwaukee. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson: Corey Bubolz; one brother: Gerhardt Bubolz; one sister: Lorena (Pual) Mahnke; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: JoAnn Kornely, Gladys (Darwin) Immel, Mary (Art) Berrens, Shirley (Marvin) Kees, Delores (Gene) Berrens, Bernie Geiser; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Pat and Leona Berrens.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at St. John – St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Darin Aden with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Military Rites will be accorded by the AMVETS Post 1032 of Reedsville.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, October, 13, 2022 at church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
