KATHRYN M. WILDE
Kathryn M. Wilde, age 83, formerly of Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening,
May 27, 2009, at Aurora BayCare in Green Bay.
Kathryn was born Jan. 4, 1926, in Green Bay, daughter of the late William and
Blossom (Rasmussen) Wygralak. She attended schools in Green Bay and
graduated from Green Bay West High School. She married Elmer Wilde on
Nov. 29, 1950, in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Feb. 8, 1983. She
was employed for the city of Manitowoc as a bus driver for many years until
her retirement. Kathryn was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include four children: Susan Wilde, Green Bay; Curt (Lori) Wilde,
Manitowoc; Gloria LeBrick, Manitowoc; Paul (Sue) Wilde, Conroe, Texas;
daughter-in-law: Kathy Wilde, Two Rivers; nine grandchildren; five great-
grandchildren; one sister: Dorothy Bruckner, Sturgeon Bay. Nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Elmer; and one son: Bruce Wilde.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at Knollwood
Mausoleum Chapel, 1500 Hwy. 310, Manitowoc. Keith Burnett will officiate
with entombment to follow in the mausoleum.
Relatives and friends may call at the chapel Monday from 12 p.m. until the
time of service at 1 p.m. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory is
assisting the Wilde family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Kathryn's name.
