Jerabek, Lorraine L.

Lorraine L. Jerabek, age 89, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Harmony House of Manitowoc with family members at her side.

She was born on January 4, 1925 in the town of Two Rivers, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Oscar and Evelyn (Hoffman) Eis. Lorraine was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers, Class of 1942 and then attended the Manitowoc Business College. On October 4, 1945 she married Leo S. Jerabek at Randolph Field, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2010. She was the owner of The Lorraine, a women's apparel store on Washington Street in Two Rivers. Lorraine volunteered at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers, for funeral luncheons and was an avid bridge and sheepshead player in Manitowoc and Two Rivers. She also enjoyed quilting, biking, waterskiing and hiking. Lorraine was a member of the Manitowoc Yacht Club and was also active in local snowmobile organizations with her husband.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Jerry & Kathy Jerabek, Chicago area, Ned & Carol Jerabek, Santa Fe, NM, Jeff & Amy Jerabek, Salt Lake City, UT; two daughters and sons-in-law: Connie Eis & her husband James Dunn, Stuart, FL, Leah Jerabek and her husband Rick Gerarden, Manitowoc; two grandchildren: Elizabeth Jerabek and her husband, Jesse Pyeatt, Hong Kong, Jill Jerabek, Albuquerque, NM; a sister and brother-in-law: JoAnn & William Weyenberg, Manitowoc; and two brothers and a sister-in-law: Marvin & Joan Eis, Two Rivers, and Daniel Eis, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Peter Mitchell. Lorraine will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers, from 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 until 10:15 a.m.
