Carol Anne Faucett, 90, peacefully entered into eternal life on October 5, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 8, 1932, in Menominee, MI, to the late Lloyd and Laura (Bartlett) Dufresne.

Carol graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1951.

She married Richard A. Faucett on June 1, 1957, at St. Joseph's Church in Marinette, WI.

In her early years, she worked as a bookkeeper for Lloyd Flanders in Menominee. She served as a Marinette County Board member for 26 years and was a representative and supervisor on the Marinette County Committee on Aging.
As a devout Catholic and an active member of St. Anthony Parish in Marinette, Carol served as an altar society and choir member and volunteered countless hours to fundraisers for the church. Carol and her husband were also generous supporters of the Catholic school system in Marinette.

Carol was a devoted homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was exceptionally gifted at cooking and entertaining and delighted in providing delicious meals and warm-hearted company to all who entered her home.
She also enjoyed traveling, sewing, bridge, movies, and theater productions. But above all things, Carol loved spending time with her family and took great pride in following the activities of her children and grandchildren.
An angel on earth, she will be remembered for many things, especially for endlessly giving of herself. She was a kind, gentle, and loving soul, never known to utter a complaint or a disparaging word, and was adored by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her five children and their families:
Franklin (Cris) Faucett of Marinette, WI;
Michael (Christine) Faucett of Appleton, WI and their children, William, John, and Michael (Megan) and great grandchild, Grace;
Joseph (Sally) Faucett of Menominee, MI and their children, Rev. Matthew, Nathan (Kendra), and Joseph (Ciara);
Mary (Dr. James) Tandias of Marinette, WI and their children, Ryan (Danielle) and Dr. Rachel Tandias;
and Richard (Dawn) Faucett, Jr. of Mequon, WI and their children, Anna and Lauren;
and her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Sorensen of Menominee, MI;
and many nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Richard A. Faucett, her sister Joan Dufresne, and her brother Gerald Dufresne.

Carol's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff at Rennes Health & Rehab Center (Peshtigo West), to Dr. Gian Daroach and his clinic staff, and to all of Carol's caregivers for their loving and outstanding care.

Visitation will be held at Holy Family Parish – Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Marinette on November 11, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.
