Betty Ray, 87, of Kernersville, NC., passed, Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Branchland, WV., and was the daughter of the late, Elza and Opal Cummings Adkins.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wattie R. Ray, and by her 13 brothers and sisters.

Betty was a graduate of Chester High School. She enjoyed spending time with her sister, Dean and especially eating out and visiting with her new great-great niece.

Betty will be deeply missed by her daughter, Jean Wong, and her husband, Hubie of Charlotte, NC.; sisters, Dean Davis of Kernersville, NC., and Mary Bevington of Charlottesville, NC. And Sue warner of Alliance, OH.; two grand dogs, Tucker and Bohdy. She will also be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

Pastor Dirk will celebrate Betty's life, Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 1:00 PM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held at Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends may visit with her family 2 hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
