Albert F. Volkman, 98, Whitefish, died Wednesday morning in North Valley Hospital in Whitefish.
He was born March 27, 1885 in Alexandria, Minnesota, a son of John and Julia Volkman.
He married Elizabeth Sluka November 11, 1913 in Willmar, Minnesota.
He was employed with the Soo Line Railroad as a station agent for most of his life and for the past 12 years had lived in Whitefish.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, June 14, 1983.
He is survived by one son, Burton, Volkman, Whitefish; two grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
