Dorothy Hoeflein, 88, of Richmond, formally of Chicago passed away Saturday April 17, 2004 at the Richmond Health and Rehabilitation Complex- Kenwood House. She was a native of Chicago, IL and was born September 28, 1915 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Martha Specht) Shemroske. Mrs. Hoeflein was preceded in death by her first husband Leonard LaVigne,who she is buried next to. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Marks Catholic Church. She was survived by
Husband Edward Hoeflein but now he has passed and is interred in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Detroit Michigan.

Daughter Margaret (Mike) Shaughnessy
Grandchildren Mark, Steven and Brad Shaughnessy, Susan (Jason) Poteet, Jennifer, Julie, Jaclyn and Janelle LaVigne.

A Memorial Mass will be conducted Friday April 23, 2004 at 7:00 PM at the St. Marks Catholic Church with Father Patrick Stewart officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until the time of Service Friday April 23, 2004 at the St. Marks Catholic Church. Burial will be in the All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Il Monday April 26, 2004 at 10:00 AM. Turpin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
