ALICE SCHAEUBLE

Alice Elsie Rogne Schaeuble, 89, formerly of rural Reedsville, died on January 30, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers. The funeral was on Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in Valders. Officiating was the Rev. James Rasmus, with entombment at Knollwood Memorial Park in the Town of Kossuth.
Alice was born on March 16, 1923 at home in Brown County. She was the daughter of Carl and Elsie Glawe Rogne. She graduated from East DePere High School in 1942. In November, 1946, she married Orville H. Schaeuble at Zion Lutheran Church in Shirley. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2008. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Valders where she taught Sunday school, led Bible Study and was a past president of the Women's Aide.
Alice was a very bog part of her family's lives and family always came first for her. She was a supportive mother, grandmother and great grandmother and always had time to listen. She is survived by five children and their spouses, Sharon Rauber, Donald and Virginia Schaeuble, Richard Schaeuble, Sonja and Daryl Gilbertson and Sheila and Stephen Kalies; 12 grandchildren, one great grandson and two great granddaughters. She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Louis Landvatter and special friend, John, Ruth and Barney Opliger and Wendy and Mark Hoefert; two brothers and four sisters-in-law, Carl Rogne, Ted and Jan Rogne, Marie Ayers, Kay Rogne and Karen Rogne. Alice is also survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orville; a grandson, Lee Rauber, one sister and brother-in-law, June and Elton Sonnabend, two brothers, David Rogne and Philip Rogne, eight brothers-in-law and seven sisters-in-law, Gordy Schaeuble, Evelyn Woldt, Edith and Joe Velicer, Pat and Judy Schaeuble, Carlton and Regina Schaeuble, Ruth and Bill Guerts, Ilene and Hugo Wendt and Bill Ayers. The Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville assisted the family with arrangements.
