Verna Moseley

Verna Moseley, 88, died Aug. 22, 2008 in Greenville. Services are 3 p.m. today at Park Street Baptist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Dr. Marvin Mosley will officiate. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.

Verna was born Mar. 30, 1920, in Emory to parents Clifford Hogue and Lucy Treadwell. She married Harvey Moseley in Greenville in 1945.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

She was a homemaker. She was life-member of the PTA, and former President of PTA, as well as a former Sunday School Teacher and Vacation Bible School Teacher at Park Street Baptist Church.

Survivors are son Ricky Moseley of Greenville; grandson Mark Moseley of Greenville; sister Mildred Mayo of Farmersville; sister Robbie Dodd of Greenville; and sister Bernice Senter of Greenville.

Pallbearers are Shane Sentor, Donny Mason, Johnnie Pryor, and Scott Corley.
