Doris was the second of four children born to William Adam Floyd and Bertha Lee (Bumgarner) Finger. She married Thomas Dwight McCaslin and they had two sons: Johnnie Steven and Mack.

MAIDEN - Doris Finger McCaslin 67, of 2597 Providence Mill Rd. died Sept. 7, 1995, at Catawba Memorial Hospital, Hickory.
Funeral is 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at Mount Ruhama Baptist Church, Newton, with the Rev. Donald Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. today at the church.
A native of Catawba County, she was a member of Mount Ruhama Baptist Church and retired from Carolina Glove Mill, Catawba.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny McCaslin of Newton and Mack McCaslin of Mooresville; one brother, Mick Finger of Newton; and two sisters, Mrs. Ken (Jan) Trouille of Maiden and Mrs. L.C. (Ruth) Mills of Newton.
