Maria De La Luz Barrera, 79, entered eternal rest on Friday, October 7, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband Ramiro Matamoros, parents Luciano Adame and Aurora Cardenas, two sisters and two brothers.
Maria is survived by her children: Juan Manuel Valles, Aurora Matamoros, Javier Valles, Horacio Barrera, Maria Barrera, Maribel Matamoros and Thelma Magallan; Numerous of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitations will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, October 10, 2022 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Rivera Funeral Home of Mission. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Santa Fe Celestial Cemetery. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of Mission.
