Dagmar was a tragic Norwegian civilian victim of WWII. She was a victim of a terrible accident, when the Dutch ship "Voorbode" carrying 273,000 lbs of explosives, caught fire and exploded in Bergen harbor on the morning of April 20. The explosion caused massive damage to the city of Bergen, and killed 158 people, including 98 Norwegian civilians.
