Runelle Garrett Shinn, age 87, of Flomaton, Alabama died on May 17, 2012 in Conyers, Georgia. She was born in Walton County on May 3, 1925 to the late Lena Conner Garrett and the late L.O. Garrett. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Clarence D. Shinn. Surviving are: Sons and Daughter-In-Law, Dale and Linda Shinn of Conyers, Richard Shinn of Ooltewah, TN; Daughter, Carol Potts of Glenarm, IL; Brother-In-Law, Harris D. Shinn of San Antonio, TX; Nephew and Niece-In-Law, Glenn and Sonya Garrett of Monroe; 10 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren. Many friends in Alabama miss Runelle dearly. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Keese officiating (her Pastor from Flomaton). Interment followed at Rest Haven Cemetery.
