Howard, age 92, died at Aldersgate Village in Topeka. He was the son of Albert Jacob and Lola Lida (Schulz) Hildenbrand. He graduated from Highland Park High School as class salutatorian in 1944 and Washburn University in 1961. He enlisted in the US Army (1954-1957). He married Doris May Hollander on January 2, 1955. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his sister, Lois Irene Condley, and an infant sister. Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Hildenbrand, and one granddaughter.
