Rose C. Lorentz
Rose C. Lorentz, age 90, of 1511 Hamilton Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, August 28, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center, Manitowoc County.

She was born on April 28, 1923 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Mary (Brefczynski) Salkowski. On October 2, 1946 she married Laverne (Kelly) Lorentz at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2010. Rose was employed at Billy's Café as a waitress for many years. She was an avid bingo player who enjoyed crafts and sewing. Rose also bowled in Manitowoc bowling leagues for many years.

Survivors include a daughter: Rosemary (Randy) Werner, Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law: Norman (Mary Jo) Lorentz, Brookfield; four grandchildren: Kimberly (Nick) Miller, Rachael (Doug Lange) Lawerentz, Derek (Sara) Werner, Emily Lorentz; and two great grandchildren: Jaden Larsen and Ethan Werner. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Michael Lawerentz.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Bill Brunner with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday (TODAY), August 30, 2013. Friends may also call Saturday morning at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until the morning prayers at 9:30 a.m.
