John F. Kosler, a carpenter-contractor, died at 8:30 this morning at his home, 701 Oak Street. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
He was born on May 13, 1889, son of Paul and Mary Kopp Kosler. On May 28, 1918, he married Caroline Nassel, who died November 12, 1946. On January 31, 1953, he was married to Beatrice B. Hull, who survives.
Mr. Kosler was a member of St. Mary's Church, Rome Council of Knights of Columbus and of the Royal Arcanum, of which he was secretary for many years.
