On June 7, 1947, Bessie Rainey and Arthur Sinclair Sr. were united in marriage. She was formerly employed at Rudy's Manufacturing of Dowagiac. She loved to cook especially for all of the family gatherings, as for her hobbies, she like to work in her garden and can what she grew, and crochet.
Arthur precedes Bessie in passing along with her parents; two sisters: Louise and Willie Maude; and one brother, Julius.
The family will welcome friends from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, June 24, at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford where the service to honor Bessie's memory will follow. Pastor Lonnie Truelove will officiate. Bessie will be laid to rest next to Arthur in Maple Hill Cemetery in Hartford Township.
