A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma Enlow Taylor.
She was retired from the old English Medical Clinic and was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nova Carran Highfill, in 1999, and three brothers, Ray, Roy and Russell.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary Crews of Georgetown; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, Feb. 3, from 3:30 to 8 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 4, after 9 a.m.
Funeral: Monday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Highfill Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Roy McClain.
