SHERMANS DALE - Sylvia (Stone) Aughenbaugh, 88, of 176 Creek Road, Shermans Dale, died Thursday, February 7, 2008 in Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
She was born Friday, January 23, 1920 in Shermans Dale, and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Emma (Bentzel) Stone.
Mrs. Aughenbaugh was a member of Young's United Methodist Church, a 1937 graduate of Bloomfield High School and a member of the Central Perry Senior Citizens.
She was the widow of Seymour D. Aughenbaugh (1999) and is survived by a sister, Catherine Souder of Shermans Dale and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Goldie Brunner and a brother, William.
Services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 11 a.m., in Young's United Methodist Church in Shermans Dale. Her Pastor, Rev. N. Jefferson Brewster, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
