Bobby was born February 24, 1935 in Madison County, to his late parents, Lloyd and Mamie Treadway Flynn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Janice Flynn, and brother, Donald Flynn.
Bobby was a member of Enon Baptist Church. He retired from Steelcase, then from Thermo-Fisher, but his favorite job was farming. He enjoyed watching westerns, and, as an avid collector, he loved antiquing and going to flea markets.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Madison Funeral Services with Pastor Gerald Sprinkle officiating. Interment will follow at Madison Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 – 1:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
