Visitation:5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville and from 10:00 a.m. until service time Thursday, at the Church.
Services for Ora Lee Corbitt Ferrier will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Hebron Baptist Church, Dry Prong with Reverend Richard DeBusk officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery, Dry Prong.

Mrs. Ferrier, 87, of Alexandria, died Monday, January 14, 2008, at Oaks Care Center in Pineville.

She was a member of Wardville Baptist Church and retired as a psychiatric aide for Central State Hospital. Mrs. Ferrier was a loving wife, mother and grandmother placing the needs of her children and grandchildren ahead of her needs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Hyman Ferrier; parents, Jim and Laura Lashley Corbitt; brothers, Monroe Corbitt, Gene Corbitt, Jack Corbitt; sisters, Buelah Jones, Eula Thompson; grandchildren, Christopher Hyman Ferrier and Debbie Holaday.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jerry W. Ferrier & wife Cecilia of Ball, Troy Ferrier & wife Mary Lou of Pollock; daughters, Frances Ferrier Martin & husband Ezra of West Lake; Janice Ferrier of Sulphur; sister, Myrtle Rickman of Chesapeake, VA; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Donald Basco, Troy Ferrier, Jr. Joel Ferrier, Dennis Martin, Butch Jones and Chad Jones.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the Church.
