Mrs. Betty Mac Tranum, age 95 of Evergreen, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at Evergreen Nursing Facility. Mrs. Tranum was born in Covington County and had lived most of her life in Conecuh County. She had worked with the City of Evergreen as a secretary. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Evergreen. Mrs. Tranum is preceded in death by her parents, Lynam Grass and Bessie Foshee Grass; and her husband, Horace C. Tranum.
Survivors include her sons, John Hollis Tranum and wife Carole and Larry Tranum and wife Patti, all of Evergreen; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Private family graveside services will take place at a later date.
