Son of John Alden & Rebecca Nightingale.

War of the Revolution: Benjamin Alden enlisted December 9, 1775, and served fourteen months as a private in Captain Samuel Pearson's Company in Colonel Joseph Reed's Massachusetts Regiment.

Regarding Benjamin's burial:

There are two sources that list him buried at Stowe, VT.

1) Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots

2) There is a book on cemeteries in Stowe, Vermont published in 1998. This book shows Benjamin Alden buried in the Old Yard Cemetery but without a stone marker.
