Frank was the son of Francisco and Adelina Acosta and brother of Rachael and Mirella.
He graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1963. Frank joined the San Antonio Fire Department and retired after 22 years as the Captain from Fire Station #10 on Culebra. After retiring he attended Phillips College where he studied to become an LVN. Frank was employed at the Bexar County Infirmary for 10 years and retired.
He leaves behind his children, Jacqueline and Melissa, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and sister, Mirella.
