Sharon Marlene Sitts was born on November 5, 1943 in Nampa, Idaho to Willard and Irene Sitts. She was the oldest of 4 children.
Sharon and her high school sweetheart, Billy Vern Hamilton eloped on December 26, 1960 when she was just 17 years old. She moved to Illinois with her husband and his family. Sharon and Billy Vern divorced in 1962.
On August 31, 1963 Sharon married Paul Bergendoff and they had one son, Chris Bergendoff who was born on their one year wedding anniversary. Sharon and Paul divorced in 1977 and on October 2, 1978 she married Steve Steffke. They moved to Colorado in 1980 where they made their home until Sharon's death in 2022.
Sharon is survived by her husband Steve; brothers Rick Sitts(Pat) of Pahrump, NV; Jeff Sitts(Glenda) of Peoria, AZ; a sister Janet McDonald (Billy) of Del Rio, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son.
