GLYN R. FARR

Glyn R. Farr, 68, of 2114 S. 14th St., died Saturday, August 21, 1999 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Simensen officiating. Cremation will follow entombment of the cremains at Knollwood Mausoleum in the town of Kossuth.
Farr was born January 10, 1931 in Preble, Wisconsin to the late Russell and Doretta W. Martin Fart.
He married Kathleen Brueschert, December 21, 1990 in Manitowoc, Wis.
Glyn entered the U.S. Army January 27, 1948 and served overseas during the Korean War. During his tour of duty, he received the service metal with 5 bronze stars. He was temporarily discharged January 16, 1952. He was employed by the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company and the Manitowoc Company, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagle Aerie #706 in Manitowoc; the International boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmith, Forgers, and Helpers Local Union #443.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen, sons Nicholas Bruechert and Nathan Farr at home and Keith Farr in Manitowoc, Wis.
Brothers and sisters include Darrell Farr, Manitowoc, Carol Behnke, Manitowoc, Wis., Marion (Huns) Weigert, Manitowoc, Wis., William Farr, Manitowoc, Wis., Julie (James) Kreil, Two Rivers, Wis., Margaret (Helmer) Franzen, Two Rivers, Wis., Randy (Irene) Farr, Sheboygan, Wis., James (Joanne) Farr, Wausau, Wis., Darlene (Bill) Meeme, Bette Butler, St. Joseph, Tennessee, Robert (Darlene) Carriveau, Killen, Alabama, Kenneth (Kay) Carriveau, Orlando, Florida; sisters-in-law, Nancy Farr, Manitowoc, Mable Farr, Beloit, Wis., Sally Farr, Manitowoc, Wis., mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, Shirley and Art Bruechert, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends surviving.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Donald, Myron, Russell, Jr., and Orville Farr, one sister, Joyce Farr, sister-in-law, Carol Farr, brother-in-law, Charles Butler, step-mother Ella Carriveau Farr.
Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home at 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and then on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
