Marguerite H. Myers
Chilton, Wisconsin - Marguerite H. Myers, age 64, of Chilton, died on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born January 23, 1954 in Fond du Lac, daughter of the late John & Ruth (Schmitz) Grenzer. Marguerite married Kurt Myers on October 21, 1972 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho.
Through her working years, Marguerite worked at Chilton Metal Products for 18 years and was later employed by McDonald's and the Best Western in Chilton. She also operated her embroidery business from 2000 until 2017 and volunteered many years with the Thanksgiving Express in Chilton.
Marguerite enjoyed time bird watching, rooting on the Green Bay Packers and the pools she entered, and sitting in her screened in porch enjoying the summers in Wisconsin. She collected dragons of all types, amassing quite a collection through the years.
Marguerite was a kind and caring soul who enjoyed a good conversation and time spent with her husband out socializing. She especially treasured every moment she could spend with her grandchildren who brought so much joy and happiness to her life.
She is survived by her husband: Kurt; her daughter: Jessica (Jason) Gierach; her grandchildren: Tabitha Hunt, Morgan Stommel-Gierach, Dakota Gierach, & Hunter Gierach; her siblings: Kenneth Grenzer, Barb (Lon) Schroeder, Joan (Mike) Slominski, Charles (Marlene) Grenzer; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Robert Suttner, Tom (Lanette) Kienbaum, Tim (Gerilynn) Kienbaum, Geriann Kienbaum-Miller, Kathy (Kevin) Diedrich, Matthew Kienbaum, & Mark (Debbie) Kienbaum. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Walter & Lila "Jane" Keinbaum; a grandchild: Marissa Myers; her sisters: Carol Suttner & Mary (Joe) Schomisch; a sister-in-law: Betty Grenzer; and a brother-in-law: Kieth Kienbaum.
A time of visitation will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
