He married Eunice Woodruff, daughter of Nathaniel Woodruff & Thankful Wright, on 22 Jan 1733 in Litchfield.
He was a Captain in the Revolutionary War under Colonel Hinman.
Zebulon removed to Litchfield in the year 1720 with his family . He is quoted in his published narrative as stating "I went up to Ticonderoga in the late Revolutionary War with Colonel Hinnman, I was active in the French war in the year 1756 till the year 1762". I was a Conductor of teams of horses by which means I obtained the title Captain. He married Eunice Woodruff on the 22nd of January 1733 /1734 as recorded in Litchfield's Vital Records. By his count they had 9 children, and 48 grandchildren. At age 91 he wrote that he was able to sow and reap his crops and expected to do the same the next year . He died on the 8th of January 1803 a Patriot.
