Information has been received in Parsons on the death of Mrs. Irene Gross Huff Shelby, a native of Labette County where she was born March 13, 1904. Her death occurred Monday in a Chicago hospital.
She lived her early life in Parsons and lived in Topeka several years before moving to Chicago about 25 years ago.
Her husband, Robert Shelby of Chicago, survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Flowers of Portland, Me.; two sons, Wallace Huff and William Huff Jr., both living in California; three stepdaughters and three brothers, Milo Gross, Vernon Gross, both of Topeka, and Bert Gross of Alsip, Ill.
