In plot with Benjamin, Mary, William L and William C. Bobbitt. No individual stones found for this family but a plot marker indicating "B.A.B. 257" designates their family plot.

The funeral of Myrtle Josephine Bobbitt took place at 10 a.m. yesterday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bobbitt, 218 South State street. The services were conducted by Rev. A.C. Byerly, pastor of the First Methodist church, who spoke words of comfort to the sadly bereaved members of the family. A quartette from the Washington Street Mission Sunday school sang in a very appropriate manner the deceased's favorite songs, "Asleep in Jesus," "Nearer My Home," and "I Gave My Life for Thee." The floral offerings were very beautiful and showed the high esteem in which the young lady was held. The internment took place at Oak Ridge cemetery and the pall-bearers were Arthur Chandler, Arthur Johnson, Will Morehead, Arthur Partlow, Albert Hoge, and Jay French.

The members of the family desire to return their sincere and heartfelt thanks to the friends and neighbors for their acts of kindness during their sad bereavement.
