Mrs. Dent had been employed for eight years at RCI and was currently employed by Komputrol in Daleville.
She was born on July 23, 1965, in Tipton, the daughter of Frederick Allen and Martha Ellen (Smeltzer) Knapp. Her parents survive in Arcadia.
She was a 1983 graduate of Noblesville High School and received a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising from Ball State University in 1987.
She married Robert Allen Dent on April 23rd, 1988 in Arcadia, Indiana, and he survives.
Mrs. Dent was a member of the Arcadia Church of the Brethren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Tracy Knapp of Lewisville, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Hoss Southard of Tipton and Connie and Chuck Hands of Noblesville; and 10 nieces and nephews, Julie Knapp, Ben Knapp, Tanya Southard, Jake Southard, Samantha Southard, Brandon McJunkin, Olivia McJunkin, Courtney Jeffries, Chris Jeffries, and Sara Jeffries.
