She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred F Hauser and Regina Marie Chester Hauser; her husband of 35 years, Wilbur S "Bill" Duncan; a brother, Paul Hauser; a brother-in-law, Paul Jernigan; a nephew, Tom Jernigan; a grandniece Kristen Curtis; and a stepson, Ross Duncan. She was survived by her sister; a brother; two step-daughters; one great-grandchild; nine nieces and nephews; and sixteen grand-great nieces and nephews.

Interment on November 17, 2022.
