Bob was born and raised in Alpena--and very much involved in sports during his childhood, especially while attending Alpena High School. He was added to the AHS Hall of Fame Roster for his sports achievements. Started as a Woolworth's assistant manager--moved to several
locations then ended up buying a store in Addison, Wisconsin which was known and "BOB'S" CRAFT SUPPLIES, etc. Years later, retired to their home in Cassville, Wisconsin.
