John Richardson –aka- "Richard" or "Dick" Bellamy, was the son of Rev. William Cunningham and Martha Josephine (Lane) Bellamy. On the death certificate for John, it lists the last name for his mother as Taylor. This is incorrect.

John married Fannie Garrison (daughter of Anderson H. and Margaret (Polk) Garrison) on 25 Dec 1898, in Winston, Daviss Co., Missouri. The service took place at the home of the bride and service was performed by W.S. Bellamy, cousin of the groom. To this union, 7 known children were born: Guila, Wilda Jane, Wilmer Clayton, Richard Vaughn, Goldie Fance, Alice Honda and Winifred Fannie. The marriage ended in divorce. Fannie would later die of complications from diabetes.

John married Stella Belle Woods, in 1913, Missouri. To this union, eight known children were born; Jack Diamond, Lena Mae, Enos Rexford, Max Douglas, Nannette Georgia, Jimmie Oliver, Joseph Ray and Norma Virginia.

Per Missouri Death Cert #63-008316 John passed away from Broncho Pneumonia and Old age. He was buried on 11 Feb 1963, in Grandin Cemetery.
