Maria was the daughter of Panfilo and Josefa (Ortiz) Betancourt and sister of Margarita, Alicia, Gustavo, Adela and Rosario.
She leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Jose Jesus Alba and their children, Jesus, Gloria, Silvia, Maria, Alma and her mother, Josefa, 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and surviving siblings.
Preceded by a son, Juanita, her father and 2 sisters, Margarita and Alicia.

Burial date- November 22, 2022 @ 12 pm- 12:30 pm.
