Robert Gustaf "Bobby J" Johnson, 94, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Bobby J was born on Wednesday, June 20, 1928, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He served in the US Navy.
He married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Acree, in 1949 and began building his legacy.
"Bobby J" had a hand in touching and helping the lives of many, and those that were lucky enough to know him got to experience a man that lived life to its fullest, worked hard, and loved beyond measure.
"Bobby J" had a passion for motorcycles that was undeniable, and he loved to share that passion with family and friends. So much in fact, he worked at night to fund his passion of owning a motorcycle business, which we all know today as Bobby J's Yamaha, the longest running dealership in the US.
"Bobby J" leaves behind a daughter, Sandy Buckelew, of Elephant Butte; and a long list of grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, that loved and admired him dearly.
