Funeral servie for Ed (Stephens) Steffan, 54, of Jester who died of a heart attack at Pittsburgh, PA Tuesday night, were to be held Friday at 3 p.m. from the Griffin Chapel.
The rites were to be conducted by the Rev. W. H. Bradbury, Dallas, pastor of the Prairie Grove Baptist church (Emmett) with burial in the Campbell cemetery.
He was an employee of the Panama Construction Co., Inc.
Surviving are the wife of Jester; three sons, James, Kenneth and Barney Lee Steffen, all of Jester; two brothers A. E. and W. M. Steffan, both of Houston, and other relatives.
Pallbearers were to be A. E. Bittner, Grady Turner, Tucker Covington, Sammy Ward, Roy Ivie, and Robert Earl Bittner.
