"Services were held Monday at the Langsford Chapel in Lee's Summit for Robert M. Hoit, 67, of Route 3, Belton, who died Friday at St Luke's Hospital. Burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.
He was born in Lee's Summit and had lived in the area most of his life. He had been a farmer 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pauline M. Hoit of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Collings of Harrisonville and Mrs. Carol Koontz of Grandview; two brothers, Earl Hoit of Tonganoxie, Kans., and Vernon Hoit of Milan, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Hattie White of Mattoon, Ill.; and three grandchildren."
