BYARD

MOUNDS— Mr. Hiram W. Byard, 95, of Mounds, died Tuesday at a Glenpool nursing home.

Mr. Byard was born Feb. 19, 1893, at Hundred, West Virginia, and moved to the Mounds area in 1912. He was a retired oil field worker and member of the First Baptist Church in Mounds.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Marie, on July 19, 1986.

Survivors include two sons; two daughters; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Mounds with the Rev. Jim Ray officiating.

Burial will be in Mounds Cemetery under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home of Bixby.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to Camp Leah in Tahlequah in care of First Baptist Church of Mounds.
