Dies Saturday
Arthur W. Baker, 80. of 126 West Cedar street, died at his home Saturday morning following a week's illness. Born Jan. 25, 1867, in Oakland County, Mich., the deceased had lived most of his life in Grand Rapids. He came to Kalamazoo about seven years ago after retiring from his work with the Pere Marquette railroad.

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Mabel, and one son, Eugene, both of Kalamazoo. Funeral services will be held at the Cady funeral home at 3 Tuesday afternoon with burial in Mount Ever Rest Memorial Park cemetery.

Former Local Man,
Arthur Baker, Dies
Kalamazoo-Arthur W. Baker, 80, retired Pere Marquette railway employee who resided in Grand Rapids most of his life, died Saturday at his home here after an illness of one week.

He was born Jan. 25, 1867 in Oakland county. Mr. Baker came here seven years ago from Grand Rapids.

Surviving are his wife, Mabel M., a son, Eugene M. of Kalamazoo, and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 3 Tuesday at the Cady chapel here with burial in Mt. Ever Rest Memorial park.
