March 16, 1936 - November 18, 2022
Philip B. King, Jr. ("Phil") lived a full life until Nov. 18th, 2022, when he lost his valiant struggle with cancer.
We will miss his thoughtfulness, relentless sense of humor, exciting stories, crazy parties he used to throw, and all the amazing tax advice he gave to his many clients.
Phil was a proud veteran of the Air Force which provided an opportunity for traveling the world as a family, resulting in many diverse and educational experiences as well as plenty of joyful memories.
Phil is survived by his wife of 18 years, and his children. Phil was predeceased by his first wife Della Marie King and mother of his four children, son Michael, brother Larry, and his parents.
Phil's family sends heartfelt gratitude to Josie R. who provided loving personal and nursing care to Phil; to Judy W., who provided him with considerate emotional support, counseling, and guidance; and to Kimberley D. for her devoted friendship; and to all his friends and family for their thoughts and prayers.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11:15 am. In lieu of flowers or condolences, the family asks that you honor Phil by offering a kind gesture or lending a hand to someone in need.
