Jessie Guadalupe Gutierrez, 20, of Gainesville, TX, passed away July 3, 2022 in Gainesville, TX.
Jessie was born January 6, 2002 in Denton, TX. He attended and graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School. Jessie then proceeded to graduate from Gainesville High School. During his high school education, he obtained his welding certification from North Central Texas College. Jessie was also recognized for graduating in the Top-10 of his class. He attended the University of North Texas and pursued a career in construction engineering. Most importantly, he enjoyed his friends and family's company. His favorite hobby was being outdoors, either hunting or fishing with his friends. My son Jessie, you will dearly be missed!
Survivors include: parents Lucy and Lupe Gutierrez of Gainesville; sister Natalie Gutierrez of Gainesville; grandmother Leonor Murillo of Fort Worth; grandmother Remedos Rangle of Mexico; aunts and uncles: Lauro and Socorro Murillo (children Larry, Angela, Alfred), Omelia and Hector Fernandez (child Crystal), Virginia Deleija (children JJ, Marylou, Oscar, Alfonso Jr.), Francisco Murillo (children Frankie, Cynthia), Johnny and Anna Dede Murillo (children Johnny Jr., Raymond, Jacob, Nicole), Erminia and Omar Moreno (children Tiffany, Victoria, Diana), Berta and Victor Reyes (children Quintana, Gwilym), Luisa Gutierrez, Enrique Gutierrez, Azusano Gutierrez, Consuelo Gutierrez, Celedoña Areedondo, Angelica Gutierrez, Gabriel Gutierrez and Luis Gutierrez.
Jessie was preceded in death by: great-grandparents Ernesto and Sara Murillo; grandfather Alfredo Murillo; grandfather Sabas Gutierrez, and uncle Raul Murillo.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. John Pacheco officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with visitation following.
