Willie Yvonne Butler, 94, widow of Thomas L. Butler, Sr., died Thursday, November 17, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Butler was known as Yvonne to her relatives, friends, neighbors and coworkers.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, Beaufort, South Carolina.
Mrs. Butler was born on October 14, 1928, in Walterboro, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the late Furman Herndon and Willie May Greene Herndon.
Surviving are three daughters: Diane DeWitt; Julie Haas; and Linda Fulton; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Thomas L. Butler, Jr.; and two grandchildren.
