Grand Coteau - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Bobbie G. Bihm on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, La. Father Clyde LeBlanc will conduct the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery.

Visiting hours will be observed at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, La. (174 Church Street, Grand Coteau, LA 70541) beginning on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 12:15 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 12:45 p.m.

It is with deep sorrow we regretfully announce the passing of Bobbie G. Bihm, age, 85, on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

Bobbie retired from Freeport McMoran Sulphur Company after 31 years of service. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army with the Third Armored Division in Germany during the Cold War. Bobbie was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen Angels Catholic Church for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his sons, David Bihm and wife, Polly, of Arlington, TX, Darryl Bihm and wife, Ginger, of Ft. Worth, TX and Tracy Bihm and wife, Ann, of Sunset, La.; his daughter, Stephanie Lanclos and husband, Billy, of Leonville, La.; his brother, Johnnie Bihm of Basile, La. and his special friend, Joycelyn DeLay, of Bossier City, La. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Alex, Haley, Payten, Jordan, Carlie and Will; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curries Bihm and Esther Latiolais Bihm; his wife, Mary Aline Bihm; his sister, Barbara Bihm, his grandson, Ryan Bihm; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dewey Joubert and Mabel Stelly Joubert; his sister-in-law, Pat Bihm and his brothers-in-law, J.C. Joubert and Raymond Joubert.

Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, 2845 South Union Street, Opelousas, LA, 70570, (337) 942-2638 has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
