Theory: This William W Ater may have married Emma Jane Stewart and moved to St Louis Mo about 1860 - died there, however burial in Lexington Cemetery. Still sorting out as of 2009.
12/5/2014 - Emma J Stewart Ater was alive living in St Louis per 1880 census. She died in St Louis November 21, 1923 as Emma Ater. Need to locate her death certificate. They had a son named William W Ater born 1868 per St Louis Census.
